                           Infrared Sauna Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Are your saunas in stock?
A.   In most cases we have all sauna models in stock.

Q.  What are your sauna prices?
A.   Smarty Sauna:  $3,795; 1-Person TheraSauna:  $3,220.00; 2-Person TheraSauna:  $3,741.00; 4-Person TheraSauna:  $4,366.00

Q.  Do you always offer free shipping?
A.  Well, we try, but then again a shipping special wouldn't be special if we offered it every month.

Q.  I can't decide which sauna to buy.  What's the major difference between the Infra-Therapist and
     TheraSaunas?
A.  For practitioners working with facials, tanning and body wrapping, the Infra-Therapist is ideal.  It's
also great for those with limited space and a limited budget.  TheraSauna models are a cut above in
that they do not off-gas as the plastic Infra-Therapist would.  If someone is battling severe health
concerns or has multiple chemical sensitivities, probably the TheraSaunas would be best, as they do
not off-gas like other plastic or wooden saunas.

Q.  What makes TheraSaunas so special.  Aren't they basically the same saunas you see everywhere?
A.   NO.  TheraSaunas are unique in a variety of ways.  You just can't get the health benefits you seek with
sub-standard models.  That said, you can achieve at least SOME benefit from ANY far infrared sauna.
However, here are a few factors that set TheraSauna apart from all others:

  1.  Constant supply of far infrared - not a shut-on, shut-off rhythm.  (You could purchase a less
expensive sauna but in the long haul would be receiving less therapeutic radiation).
  2.  Pesticide-free white woods are used in construction.  As a rule of thumb, the darker the wood, the
more toxins exist in it, especially when heated.  That's why we use imported non-sprayed white
durable woods.  (Cedar and redwood both emit toxic gases when heated).
  3.  Patented electronic controls
  4.  Full range of light wavelength of between 7.5 and 12 microns that has been proven to be the most therapeutic
range.  The body produces infrared in this range.
  5.  True "far" infrared light wavelength penetration (up to three inches deep into the body)
  6.  Assembles in 30 minutes (usually less)
  7.  Plugs into standard household plugs (4-Person TheraSauna require 20 amp service)
  8.  Takes only minutes to warm up
  9.  Completely portable
10.  Costs pennies a day to operate
11.  Burns calories (up to 600 in a 25 minute session)
12.  Relieves pain
13.  Boosts immune and cardiovascular health
14.  Promotes detoxification of heavy metals and all lipophilic toxins

Q.  Can children use infrared saunas?
A.   Legally, we must say consult your physician before you or your children begin any health program, including
infrared therapy.  However, hospitals routinely keep newborn babies warm by applying far infrared heat as it is
comforting and therapeutic.  We have clients who take their young children into the saunas with them with
      wonderful results.

Q.  How can infrared saunas be used in conjunction with exercise and before and after work-outs?
A.   According to research, light literally can alter basic biological functions.  Studies indicate that radiant light
produces a metabolic effect in the body similar to that of exercise.  Lactic acid, a by-product of muscle
metabolism that causes soreness and stiffness after strenuous exercise is significantly reduced after far infrared
(or radiant) sauna therapy.  And use of the sauna before exercise can also be beneficial as it helps increase
blood circulation and acts as a "warm up" before activity.

Q.  Do you use tempered glass or plexiglass in your TheraSaunas?
A.  Plexiglass would be fine, as it's flash point is very high before emission of gases.  However, TheraSaunas
are constructed with only tempered glass in their doors and windows.

Q.  What are the advantages of owning a sauna in comparison to less expensive spa visits?
A.   The choice is yours.  We understand that owning a sauna isn't for everyone, but realistically it could be viewed
as an investment in your health and perhaps life.  For many, the wonderful benefits of body penetration (up to
three inches), deep detoxification and pain relief are enough to tip the scales in favor of owning one in the
      privacy of one's home.

Q.  Will my utility bills increase, namely my electric bill?
A.   Our saunas are very efficient and a 30 minute session costs about 5 cents for electricity to operate.

Q.  Does dry, far infrared sauna therapy affect the sinuses?
A.   We have many testimonials from happy customers who have been relieved of their sinus congestion and
extreme sinus headaches with sauna therapy.  We cannot predict your personal results and again, if you
have any medical condition, consult your doctor first.

Q.  Does infrared sauna therapy burn calories?  Will I get slim using your sauna?
A.   We can't predict what results you'll have but some of our sauna users have reported loss of excess weight and
inches.  Our saunas can burn 300-600 calories in a 30 minute session.

Q.  Does far infrared sauna therapy help the skin look better?  What about cellulite?
A.  Many skin disorders are the result of clogged pores and environmental damage.  Far infrared rays penetrate the
skin to loosen oils and other debris from the pores, enhancing immunity and circulation which helps one look
     more radiant and beautiful.
Our muscles are wrapped in a padding of fatty connective tissue and the fatty
cells of the padding are held in place by a network of fibers, nourished and cleansed by body fluids. When this
process is slowed down, the tissue is flooded with waste materials that thicken into gelatin-like substance and
hardens to form immovable pockets called cellulite.  Far infrared sauna therapy can help speed up the removal
of these waste materials and yes, some of our users have reported quick loss of their cellulite with consistent
     sauna use.

Q.  You sometimes use the term "radiation" when referring to far infrared.  Is that correct and more
      importantly, is that safe?
A.  The sun gives us its radiation which is vital to life's functions so to say all radiation is bad would be incorrect.
Our own bodies radiate infrared energy through the skin at 3 to 50 microns, with most output at 9.4 microns.
Our palms emit infrared energy also.  The infrared heat produced by these infrared saunas is similar to the heat
from the sun.  This radiant heat is a form of energy that heats objects directly through conversion without having
to heat the air between.  Radiant heat is also called infrared energy or IR.  IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE
HARMFUL RADIATION FROM MICROWAVES, DAMAGING ULTRAVIOLET RAYS, ELECTRO-MAGNETIC
     FREQUENCIES OR THE LIKE.

Q.  Will the sauna be an eye-sore in my home?
A.  That depends on how you define "eye-sore".  The Infra-Therapist is handsomely constructed and takes little
space.  You could even hide it inside a large closet if you think that's necessary.  TheraSaunas are handcrafted
from 100% clear non-toxic wood for years of durability and lasting beauty.
